Over the years this narrow house had been extended in such a way that in the end it had more corridors than useful space. The first step was to reduce the volume of the house to its original size. The second was on one end the creation of a central core around the staircase with all types of facilities (bathrooms, entrance zenithal daylight etc), and on the other end obtaining direct access to the main elevations for all the rooms.
